About the Book
In 1993 I spent six months photographing the residents of Odyssey House (a drug rehabilitation centre) in the Melbourne outer suburb of Eltham. I was the first person to be allowed in to take photographs and document the residents time in rehab.
When completed I used the body of work as my final year thesis at Victoria College of the Arts. The work was also permanently exhibited at the Odyssey House Centre in Prahran, Victoria.
