    Robert McKay Jones is an author, historian, photographer, lecturer and software developer. In 1982, he founded Transportation Resources, Inc., (TRI) a leading developer of custom transportation and management software in New England. Bob has four decades of experience in transportation, warehousing, logistics and brokering and has lectured around the country on the inner workings of transportation brokering. He publishes a monthly Newsletter on transportation and technology and has authored numerous newspaper articles and print publications on various subjects. Bob is also a photographer and documents landscapes and historical sites with several books to his credit. His art is displayed on his photography website, store and blog (robertmckayjones.com). Bob lives with his wife of forty-three years and has two children and three grandchildren. Bob also donates a great deal of time to civic duties serving on various committees in his home town of Sterling, Massachusetts.
