The Hawai‘i Arts Alliance engages and transforms communities in Hawai‘i by supporting and cultivating creativity through the arts. The Alliance is an ARTS FIRST PARTNER, enabled by state law to collaborate for excellence in arts education throughout Hawai’i. With the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts and the Hawai’i Department of Education, the Alliance facilitates the collaboration of teaching artists, classroom teachers, school administrators, and students in classroom residencies, school arts field trips, after-school arts programs, and professional development. We are the state representative for the national arts advocacy organization, Americans for the Arts, and a champion for all artists, art organizations, and art supporters in Hawai’i.
