About the Book
A symphony in which two themes of the first movement appear in a different format in the fourth movement giving the work a sense of coherence. Each movement however has a distinct character. The fourth movement is a pastiche of pieces that as well as the typical major and minor scales also include segments in Phrygian dominant, double harmonic minor, as well as Arabic/Jewish/ Gypsy scales, plus a blues march in light jazz style.
