About the Book
This book documents the second half of a journey across Arnhem Land, Northern Australia, made with Outback Spirit Tours in June 2017. Because a road was flooded beyond Maningrida, we flew by small plane from East Arnhem Land to Davidson's Safari Lodge in West Arnhem Land. There we were privileged to see some exceptional traditional cave paintings and enjoyed much wonderful scenery and photographed many flowers and birds. Later, we flew to Cobourg Peninsula where we visited a long abandoned British Settlement (The first book, Exploring East Arnhem Land, is also published by Blurb. It covers the journey from Nhulunbuy to Maningrida.)
