About the Book
Just a Thin Thread is the story of Harold and Dot Waller. Born in the midwest during the early years of the Depression, they married and began their family just before WWII. Their story traverses many of the major events of the 21st century and gives insight into the lives of an ordinary couple living through extraordinary times. They lived to create thriving businesses in logging, ranching and throroughbred racing. Over all, family was their focus and in the end, what mattered most.
