Anna Eastland is a Canadian writer and mother of eight. She has been writing poetry since high school and holds a BA in English and Classical Studies from UBC. She has written a number of articles and is a contributing author for an anthology on motherhood entitled "Love Rebel: Reclaiming Motherhood." Writing poetry helps her to process the intense emotions that come from losing a child, and to give them expression.
