About the Book
A few weeks after Hurricane Ike slammed into the Texas coast crippling Galveston the cleanup began in earnest.
Like hundreds of other colleges from around the nation, Harding University sent a handful of students to help in the effort for a short while.
Noah Darnell, the school's head photographer for all the student publications, was sent to document their effort and report back what he experienced. This was what he saw.
