Summer 2009.
Safariphotography in Southern Africa.
South Africa, Botswana and Namibia.
I traveled for five weeks through southern Africa.
In former books KINDEROGEN and VOLWAS-SENOGEN I made a lot of portrets of humans.
In my photographs I always try to come as close as possible, in order to look into the eyes of the persons I'm making photo's of. So, I can more or less read their minds.
In this book I do the same.
Using a good 300mm lens connected to a extender I get a 600mm reach, which makes it possible to get much closer to the subject.
Question: Do animals have thoughts?
When we look to each other I should say yes!
