About the Book
Former Royal Marine, Mark Ormrod, became the first British triple amputee during the conflict in Afghanistan. After stepping on an I.E.D, on Christmas eve 2007, he was told that he would spend the rest of his days in a wheelchair.
Ten years on Mark has shown what is possible; becoming a motivational public speaker, sponsored athlete, award winning author, fundraiser and furthermore works full-time for the Royal Marines Association.
Mark is married to his ever supportive wife Becky and is settled in Plymouth with his three children, Kezia, Mason and Evie.
Thanks to the backing from a Kickstarter campaign, Mark has been followed by former Royal Marine, Matthew Elliott, on his journey to the Invictus Games Toronto 2017, capturing stills and moving image for the #noLIMBits documentary due for release in the coming months.
