About the Creator
Dotone is a French artist who lives in Paris. Dotone works around the themes of the human body, the "hide reveal", abstraction, passing time and melancholy, whether sketches with brush, oil paintings on wood or sculptures that he dreamed immense. It is by preserving its anonymity that the artist seeks to find a more introspective territory. Through his first book "Fragments of Contemporary Sadness", Dotone evokes his return to the brush and the freedom to act without thinking. He presents 150 portraits sketched with a black brush all relating a certain melancholy. Through her second book "Paintings In Trouble Times" coming soon, the artist will present the oil paintings made between 2016 and 2018 revealing the different phases of reflection and doubt.
