About the Book
The Wiscasset, Waterville, & Farmington Railway was initially formed as the Wiscasset & Quebec Railway. The goal was to link Wiscasset to Quebec. During its days the railway primarily served the Sheepscot Valley. The railroad carried agriculture products, logs, potatoes, and dairy products along with general merchandise and mail. It also had passenger service.
The railway has been reopened as a historical railway. The photos in this book provide a glimps of the restoration. A moment in time.
