About the Book
This book is a record of a photographic project entitled, ‘A Photographic Essay of College Life from 1883 – 1978’.
It contains photographs taken between 1976 and 1978 and provides a valuable record of the College of Sarum St Michael teacher training college in the Close at Salisbury, just before it closed.
The book also contains a number of reproductions of photographs from previous years, donated for the project and copies of a diary kept by Mrs Hilda Richards (Née Noyce) from her time at college during 1916.
