    About the Book

    Edit

This work, with the input of other professional broadcasters, is a reflection of my work as a performer, instructor, tutor, and student adviser. We look into the beginnings of human speech development. We look at the mechanics of speech, and look at some of it's problems, and add a few exercises to help. We look at the proper way to write and deliver a commercial. We look at writing a radio newscast, as well as how to deliver it. We look at tips for doing a proper news interview. More tips on how to ad lib on a show. This is followed by a sample newscast, and DJ show. We round it all off at the end with tips on preparing a radio and voice-over audition. The last few pages are pictures of people on the way up in the broadcasting field.
