Dear Mr. Smith is an autobiographical book following the adventures of Babo Babenski, a secondary school student who narrates his experience of taking the Art GCSE course. When his school gives him impossible task after task, each one more absurd than the last, Babo must decide whether he should comply to his teacher’s demands and strive for a good grade, or follow his dreams and find joy once again in making art.
