About the Book
Popular with many day-trippers and other tourists who enjoy the boulevards and the beach, Margate is a quaint English seaside resort. Usually quiet, the retreat comes alive one morning when Mr. Godwin meets Lulu, a girl in a white dress, and a sea captain buried in the sand.
Worried about Mr. Godwin and his mental state, Mrs. Beechwood goes on an exploration herself. As his neighbor, she knows of the disappearance of Mr. Godwin’s wife, Tess, nineteen years ago. What she does not realize is that Mr. Godwin might not be crazy after all.
Readers will meet the Turtle King, the infamous Norris Brothers, Dr. Tennant, and Mr. Roberts in this quirky novel that will have you questioning your own sanity!
