About the Book
Crooked Island ... a small, remote coral island in the southern tier of the Bahamas ... few people, many bonefish, wonderful days. The light on white sand and clear water reflects the blue sky of the Bahamas and turns the ocean turquoise ... a great opportunity for photographs. The privilege of a week at the Crooked Island Lodge offered excellent fishing with guides who have eyes like fish hawks. There were wonderful accommodations and food, warm hospitality, and blessed isolation on an island with fewer than 200 residents. This book tells the story of Crooked Bones in March 2009.
