"Rise: Symbols of Protest" is an exhibition catalog accompanying the 2017 "Rise: Symbols of Protest" exhibition curated by Northern Illinois University students in the Museum Studies Graduate Certificate Program Brian Cory, Amy Caponigro, Amanda Helfers, Adina Salmansohn, and Rachelle Wilson, guided by Museum Studies Instructor Peter Van Ael.



The catalog contains exhibition documentation, subject essays by the curators and instructor, and writings by protest poet Lew Rosenbaum.
