About the Book
A great part of all the NASA missions is the tradition of unique insignias that are being made for each individual mission. This started in the sixties, when the race to the moon started for the USA and the Soviet Union. Every insignia has a story behind it, and carry great symbolism in their design. Often crew members designed their own insignias for that particular mission. This is a collection of the very first insignias from NASA, from the Gemini Space Program, until the Apollo-Soyuz Space Program.
