About the Book
This book is about both the joy and despair of being alone. One can experience solitude alone or in a crowd. One can be recharged or drained by being apart from others. Being an introvert or an extrovert as well as what is happening in our life can makes all the difference in one’s experience of solitude. These pictures are meant to be a small exploration of one of our greatest pleasures or our worst discomforts. One can visit the vastness of the universe in our imagination, or the darkest pits of depression, or both.
