This book is to commemorate the TransAmerica 2018 Journey of Hope. Each book contains a collection of photos and journal entries to capture the adventure of the Pi Kapp cyclist and crew on their cross-county bike trek to raise awareness for people with disabilities.
While it can’t truly capture the impact the trip will have on the life of the team members, the hope is that anytime they look through its pages, now as well as far into the future, it triggers a memory of a sight, sound, smell, fear, pain or pleasure that takes them back to their time on the road with fellow Pi Kapp cyclists. A time that only Pi Alphas will fully understand.
For those of us that have not been fortunate or brave enough to attempt such a journey as theirs, it is intended to connect us to the trip and in a small way make their Journey of Hope our Journey of Hope.
