Hokkaido is a large island on the northernmost part of Japan. we flew from Tokyo to Kushiro Airport, and saw the red-crowned cranes. This book also includes the scenic sights in Akan National Park, Lake Mashu, Lake Kussharo, and Io-zan. We continued onto the Shiretoko Peninsula where we toured the Oshinkoshin Falls, Utoro Harbor, Shiretoko Five Lakes and the famous Shiretoko Pass. On the return trip from the Shiretoko Peninsula we went to the Koshimizu wildflower park, nestled between the Okhotsk Sea and Tofutsu Lake, before we arrived at the hotel by Lake Abashiri. This book is the first part of the two volumes photo book of Hokkaido in October.
