About the Book
The battle of Arnhem (The Netherlands) was fought in and around the city of Arnhem in september 1944.
Every year, many Brittish, Polish and some American and German veterans who survived the battle, join together during the remembrances at the Airborne cemetery of Oosterbeek (near Arnhem).
"They fell out of the sky" is to honor those men, who struggled and suffered so hard to reach the ultimate goal of Operation Market Garden; the capture of the bridge over the Rhine at Arnhem.
If anyone recognises one or more veterans, please sent me an email with pagenumber, name(s) and whatever information you got; abreparon@hetnet.nl.
Thanks in advance! Ab Reparon
