About the Book
Walkabouts in Tlalpan Park, Pictures taken throughout a couple o years while walking in Bosque de Tlalpan, in the outskirts of Mexico City.
Every morning starting at 5:00 AM hundreds of runners and walkers (I belong to the latter group) exercise and train in dedicated tracks and roads in the Tlalpan Park. On weekends families enjoy outings. The park provides three playgrounds for children.
However, this book shows nothing of this activity. Surrounding the normally visited tracks, the Tlalpan Park sustains incredibly diversified habitats for its relatively small acreage.
The park provides safe paths that allow visitors to reach these peaceful, isolated and beautiful parts of the park.
This book provides images that try to convey the mood and splendor of these habitats. You will not believe that this park survives within the limits of one of the most populated cities in the world.
I hope you will enjoy it.
Regards. Rolando
