Sandy Van Soye grew up in Southern California and attended U.C. Irvine, where she earned a B.A. in Social Science and an MBA. She worked in Corporate Information Technology for 25 years, while raising two daughters. Sandy has traveled to over 80 countries on six continents. She speaks on the subjects of traveling with children and the importance of geography to numerous schools, civic groups, and senior centers. When not traveling, Sandy enjoys cooking, hiking, backpacking, and camping. A half-marathoner and marathoner, she has also served as a race director for several running events.
