About the Book
This book shows some of my favourite photos from an 8-day trip travelling from Christchurch to Tekapo and Twizel, down to Lindis Pass and Wanaka, then Arrowtown, along Gibbston Valley to Cromwell and Clyde, then St Bathans, Naseby and Ranfurly, and finally down to the coast to Shag Point and Moeraki before returning to Christchurch. Along the way, we managed to get a number of different photoshoots, each showing autumn in its own way. The birches, poplars and willows were all a bright yellow, while the maples were rich reds. The island lived up to its nickname of the Land of the Long White Cloud, producing mist on many occasions and completely obscuring the Southern Alps on the day we went specifically to photograph them at dawn!
