This work includes photographs of the ethnic groups of the Lower Omo Valley in Southern Ethiopia including the Surma, Karo, Dassanech, Mursi and Hamer. With less than 200,000 indigenous people living in the Omo Valley, Fogel documents this brink of change with influences from modern technology, tourism and changes in the climate and agricultural environment.
