Born near Chicago, all my life has been directed mostly to art, especially painting. Influenced early by the abstract expressionists I seem to be coming back to that mode of expression. also heavily nurtured by Chinese culture ((I've been practicing tai chi since 1983.) I have been living in France since 1980, so most of my books alternate between the two languages.
