About the Book
Places of Rest is a collection of lovely photographs of nature, the sea, and people. Many of the photos are complemented with life-theme poetic verse. A mother duck teaching her young about the beauty of the sunset on the lake; the coming of autumn with falling leaves helps us to understand the passing away, and renewal, of all things; an elderly woman sits under a tree with a baby carriage next to her remembering her life and questions if it was lived fully and with purpose...Through its images and poems, Places of Rest offers the reader a sense of hope and assurance of a guiding hand in one's life. That we are not alone, and it will all turn out OK.
