This colors book features original illustrations made by artist Michael Bober for his daughter Zoe (though other people may look, too!).

Each left page contains a large block letter name of a color. Each right page contains a pen and ink illustration that only uses black, white, and whatever color is named on the left. Bober used a dip pen, India ink, and gouache to make the illustrations and to write the color names.

This book is a great way to teach the basic colors to early readers, with art that can be enjoyed by adults, too!
