About the Book
I planned my photography expedition to Yunnan Providence last summer, with the intention to search and explore the essence of Yunnan, its people from various tribes, their daily life, culture and their heritage. The trip was planned intentionally for the time of the low-season there. The reason I picked up that time of the year is because that season in this province is rarely being photographed. This challenge attracted me, as a photographer who always search for the distinctive points-of-view for the scenes I choose to photograph. So, this book is not the classic photography book of Yunnan.
