About the Book
Second is publicity-shy artist Ivo Kinnersley whose exhibition it is.
Despite a multitude of motives, and many witnesses, evidence to convict either proves elusive. The discovery of a new lead coincides with Ed’s fortieth birthday, interrupting a weekend of celebrations during which DI Luke Darbyshere learns that Ivo Kinnersley has not only already escaped one murder charge, but also shares a past and a secret with the woman Luke wants to spend his life with.

About the Creator
Artist, printmaker, family historian and writer, born in Essex and now living in Teesside. The wardrobe having got over-full with prints, I began writing fiction in 2010, initially illustrating 'Edge', then 'One that got away', a short story which spawned three novels written for my own entertainment. Thereafter I began a tale of murder, on a honeymoon cruise, sailing from Edinburgh to Shetland whereupon Luke Darbyshere, an Edinburgh-based detective inspector in Scotland’s Crime and Drugs division, fast became the central character in a series which explores his often-toxic friendship with crime reporter Baz Rose. Murder continued to provide the background against which were enacted the triangles of their lives and their affairs; their relationships with each other, and with the women they loved.
