About the Book
This is a collection of 100 of my favorite photos from 2008, my second in a series of books chronicling my years with a camera. Many are travel photos from trips during the year to Florida, Canadian Rockies, and New York State. Most of the remainder are from the southeastern U.S., celebrating the spring and autumn where I live.
I created this book to document and remind myself of the amazing things I saw in the year and the great times I had with friends. I tried to provide a variety of photo subjects, mostly presented in chronological order. I hope you enjoy seeing them half as much as I enjoyed taking them!

My main photographic focus is the natural world, showing beauty from the wild. Within that, my two topics of interest at least most recently are water (especially waterfalls) and animals.
