About the Book
Most of the photos in this book were taken over a period of almost three years while walking to and from work in midtown Manhattan. All were shot without looking through the viewfinder or an LCD screen and in most cases without pausing, taking the snapshot from the hip in mid-stride. Hence the attribute, “Shotgun Portraits.” Two point-and-shoot cameras were used: a Sony Cybershot DSC-P200 and a Leica D-Lux 3.
