About the Book
History has shown that any space can be considered a sacred place. In some cultures, a marked area signifies the importance of a loss, while in unmarked areas, an overall spiritual feeling inhabits the space.
My body of work explores the relationship of space associated with vehicle accidents along Sacramento’s Old River Road and the nearby surrounding country roads in Yolo County. The work is separated into two bodies, Public and Private Spaces.
