ŪTH is a clothing company that aims to connect psychology, convenience, and symbolism. How? Our focal point is premised on local territorial pride. Environment has a psychological bonding affect with the individuals with in. We see a multiplicity of evidence to support this claim when we look at examples like, “die-hard” sports fans, or college graduates who loves the symbolism of their alma mater. The idea of “belonging”, has a tremendous psychological affect that causes people to revere any representation, or symbolism of where they place their environmental claims. The urban culture of Washington, DC, prides itself on environmental placement. A city broken into quadrants, has resulted in fractionated identities. All quadrants bear their own uniqueness! How do we capitalize on territorial pride? We convert it into artful symbolism. With our “Native Collection”, we aim to preserve the cultural structure of DC, and collage it into patterns of art.
