About the Creator
Dave Murphy was born in 1958 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Since a child, his vivid imagination led him to be constantly drawing, which often caused him a bit of trouble, when it interfered with his school work. In 2005, Dave met his true love, Kathy. When she moved from the city of Milwaukee, to the small town of Sheboygan Falls, Dave - smitten - chased after her... and that is where they live today. In Sheboygan Falls, Dave applied his artistic skills to the Landscape Design industry. In the off-seasons, he began illustrating books for various authors, and eventually decided to write and illustrate his own children's book. 'George' is inspired by the story of Kathy's nephew Jordan, and his childhood companion... yes...George.
