About the Book
They call it "Hahnkosh" or "Duxweide"with some admiration and in alluding to the big aviation festivals in the USA and the UK. The aircrafts and pilots, flight enthusiasts and aircraft fans that travel in thousands from all over Germany and Europe to a place near Stuttgart.
Throughout the year this is a rather quiet and contemplative place, except for one weekend in September every 2 years, when the sky is getting real loud.
At Hahnweide, fans see and hear also old training and fighter aircrafts like Supermarine Spitfire, NA P 51 Mustang, Focke-Wulf FW 190, NA T6, Hawker Hurricane MK IIB or Douglas 4N Skyraider.....

Ein Septemberwochenende unter der Burg "Teck" nahe Stuttgart wird alle 2 Jahre zum "Mekka" von Fliegern, Piloten und Flugbegeisterte. Oldtimer, Segelflugzeuge, Doppeldecker und Warbirds bieten ein atemberaubendes Flugvorführungen an allen Tagen.
