About the Book
Fifty-four years ago, in a small campus off of Zonal Avenue and Mission Boulevard, near the Railroad tracks, and in the long shadow of Los Angeles County Hospital, a group of eager, young men and women met and began their journey together through the next eventful and very challenging four years of their lives.
Now, five decades since our graduation, many of us were able to meet once again and experience that camaraderie and renew the bonds of friendship and common purpose that we shared in our Medical School days. It was exciting to see what each of us had done with our professional and personal lives.
Some were unable to attend due to health, scheduling, or mobility issues, and others had passed on. We mourn their loss, but do not forget them.
This book was created to document the history and achievements of those whose lives we shared for that very special time of earning the right to be called Physicians.
