Christine Mackie has been a successful actress for over 40 years. She currently plays GP Dr Gaddas in Corronation Street, a recurring character in the show since 2014. Christine's first play BEST GIRL was nominated for Best Drama and shortlisted for Writing for Stage Award at the Greater Manchester Fringe, 4* & Highly Recommended reviews at the Edinburgh Festival and there are performances at The Dukes Lancaster and Oldham Coliseum in 2020. She is continuing to write and hopes to her have second play published later this year.
