Bethany McHugh is a 25-year-old born in Seattle, Washington - but mostly raised in Texas. She has her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech University, and is passionate about education in all stages of life. Bethany is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who worked in Thailand in the program Teacher Empowerment for Student Success. Thailand, being a non-confrontational culture, was sometimes difficult and Bethany was often confronted with her outspokenness. Out of her experiences came her first book: The Girl Who Spoke the Truth.
