Born in Northampton, Massachusetts in 1979. Diana Simard received her BFA in Painting and studied printmaking at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She works primarily in oil painting and printmaking and developed through a long, meditative process of layering color and glazes. Her work has been exhibited in the USA and Europe since 1995.

The artist currently lives and works in Marfa, Texas.
