About

Minguito Deshommes and Junior ValCourt, like many other Haitians are in economic exile from their Homeland. Unable to make a living in Haiti, they live and work in neighboring country Dominican Republic.

As self emplyed entrepreneurs for the last 10 years, they have been shoe shine boys, worked as masseusess with a major 5-star hotel, sold souvenirs to tourists near the beach in Sosua, and now do translations for ministries and groups travleling to the area.

They both speak three languages fluently, can write in English and Spanish, and are wizzes with math and computers, but still have yet to complete high school, which is another dream they wish to fullfill.

Both having absentee fathers, the young leaders contribute significantly to the support of their mothers and younger siblings.
