About

My photography dates from the late 1940s when I started developing 127 film from my Kodak "Baby Brownie" box camera. After learning darkroom skills from a professional photographer during college days in the late 1950s, there was a long hiatus when my focus was on family and career.

My consulting work and a second teaching career required extensive travel and a camera of some sort was always with me. I came to favor so-called “street photography”, because I believe that it is people that define a nation or region, not land, buildings, monuments, economic condition or political systems.
