About

David Keast was born in Cornwall, UK in 1935 and migrated to Australia in 1957. He joined the staff of the University shortly after arriving in Australia. He obtained a CDA in the UK and a BSc, MSc, PhD and MASM in Western Australia.
He has written poetry from time to time and won a prize in a university competition for "gastronomic" poetry and has a poem published in an APT travel brochure. The book The poetry is his first major work.
He is also a registered artist with the city of Kalamunda. WA and paints mainly in water colours and acrylics.
He has pictures in private collections in the UK, Canada, New Zealand and the Eastern States of Australia and in Western Australia
