About
Anna Ehrenman is a 22-year-old poet and STEM student. A world traveler and avid amateur linguist, Anna has a deep appreciation of mythology and classical literature, which lends to her writing a nostalgic romanticism and iconography.
She is currently pursuing a degree in Cognitive Science with the goal of becoming a medical writer and has previously published work on women in STEM. As a writer and STEM student in Cognitive Science, Anna seeks to explore the intersection between emotion and neuroscience.
Whereas most people see feelings and physics (poetry and science) as opposites, Anna recognizes their cooperative nature. Her debut collection, “The Almond of My Mind: The Poetry of Neuroscience and Love” explores the intersection between neuroscience and love through a unique re-imagining of physical neurological systems as relational metaphors.
