A native of New York City, Mike lives in Sechelt, BC, after having previously lived and worked in Paris, France; Portland, Maine; Fresno, California; Halifax, Canada; and a number of other places. A retired attorney, he spends most of his time writing, working on art, making beer, wine, yogurt and bread, working out and a few other enjoyable things.
