I’m a proud Idaho native, which means I’ll take mountains and rivers over a busy freeway any day.

My career as a professional photographer spanned four decades. I worked in many capacities, but my first love was making poignant B&W images as a photojournalist. In mid-2020, I began selecting photos from my archives and writing an accompanying blog. I did so weekly for a year, then compiled it all in a coffee table book titled Light & Shadow.

Beyond photography, I love big fish on a flyrod. I am thrilled by fast, sexy machines and soulful guitars. The thought of flying in a P51 Mustang or powering a Porsche as fast as I can through a road course makes my heart race. I bow at the feet of David Gilmour. Every note he’s ever played was the right one.
