Robert H. Miller is a recognized international automotive lighting design expert and a successful author and photojournalist. He has two award-winning books published: Hidden Hell: Discovering My Father's POW Diary and Portraits of Service: Looking into the Faces of Veterans (co-authored with Andrew Wakeford). Miller and Wakeford also collaborated on his most recent book with National Geographic: Veterans Voices: Remarkable Stories of Heroism, Sacrifice, and Honor. In addition, the charity Fighting AIDS with Nutrition (FAWN) sent Miller/Wakeford to South Africa and Botswana to document and collect family stories using life-saving liquid nutrition for HIV and AIDS patients. Miller continues working on special photo assignments worldwide and has written and published numerous short stories about his experiences. He and his wife, Colleen, live in Canton, Michigan, and have five children and seven grandchildren.
