The author’s birth place was a coal mining community, Harmon, Virginia located in Buchanan County. Residence is now on the west coast of Florida. He is retired and will be seventy-eight on his next birthday. In 2009 he began writing poetry and has written over one thousand poems. In 2012, his interest changed to a combination of poetry and imagery.
He has self-published twelve poetry books, ten of them Poetic Imagery. They are available at BLURB.com. The title of his first novel is Mystery of Woe-Bee-Gone Lake. The book is available on Amazon, Barnes, and Noble, and Books a Million in hardcover, softcover, and e-book. He has written a second novel titled Revenge and Justice. A third book is titled Little Boy Lost. It is the author's memories of his childhood in the forties and fifties, from the age of three to nineteen, growing up on a mountain farm in Virginia.
